Why Choose A Birthday Party from Woodland Classroom?

Parents can bring their children to us knowing their kids will have a great time; getting active, being creative and learning new skills. Being a Forest School we subscribe to the principle of “child-led learning through play” and we aim to offer a supportive, encouraging and inspiring environment where children can thrive. We always allow plenty of space for children to spread out and create their own play. The woodland setting is perfect for this. All activities are based around our Forest School shelter and campfire circle where we our kettle boils away with hot tea and coffee for parents.

Still not convinced whether you’d like to book us for your child’s party? Just read the review we received from Emily, who chose our Wildcraft Adventure Party for her son…

“Wow! I just have to tell you about my son’s 9th birthday party. I was looking for something different. Bouncing on trampolines is great. Watching a film is fun. But I wanted to give my boy something really special and different, that his friends would still be talking about in a months time and that really matched his personality. Having been on a bushcraft day with James and Lea last year, he has repeatedly asked to relive the experience… and they did not disappoint!!!”

“What followed was the most amazing party I could have wished for for my lovely boy… A campfire, wood cutting, stick whittling (plus marshmallows and popcorn!) treasure finding, bushcraft skills, minibeast searches, den building, laughter, potion making, running, jumping, making fire and even a visit or two from a Creeper!”

“Everyone had a great time, each finding an activity to satisfy their curiosity and interest. And watching them running wild in the woods was a delight. By the end of the party I had eight exhausted and happy boys and girls, who did not stop chattering about their experiences all the way home. And I enjoyed it just as much! Thank you, James and Lea, it was perfect.”

Emily Carne – a satisfied parent

We had a really lovely few hours today and learnt such a lot in a very short space of time. Elliott was so pleased he lit his cotton wool with his flint and Orla keeps talking about the death triangle, Good skills as well as good fun in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended.
