Our Venues

Our activities are set against the backdrop of some stunning countryside and woodland.

In North East Wales we offer our sessions from our main site at Park In The Past and also both The National Trust’s Erddig Hall and Chirk Castle estates, both amazing outdoor venues in Wrexham.

In Wrexham, we also have access to an indoor training space at Felin Puleston Outdoor Centre, a purpose built outdoor education space, on the banks of the River Clywedog, easily accessible from town, that includes an activity room, kitchen, toilets, allotment garden and surrounding woodland and meadows.

Our ongoing partnership with these venues enables us to offer so much more to the groups we work with who have the opportunity to engage in outdoor learning and nature connection surrounded by these historical estates with their variety of habitats and rich biodiversity.

We’ve spent a wonderful day today on the Wild Cooking course at Erddig. Lea and James are both great teachers and their different areas of expertise complement each other really well. We feel like we have learned so much but are also totally relaxed after a day in the woods! Hope to come on another course soon.
