Wild Food Webinar Live on Zoom

Kickstart your foraging journey & walk the wild food trail.

Join our monthly workshops online, with James & Lea from Woodland Classroom

Enjoy finding, harvesting and cooking with wild food every month during our online workshops.

Foragers & Outdoor Leaders, James & Lea will be hosting this live webinar workshop showcasing a host of wild edible foods that are available in the hedgerows during July and throughout summer. You will learn about edible plants you can find and cook tasty dishes with.

After the smash success of our online foraging workshops during lockdown we have launched this new monthly series of webinars which will take you through a year of wild food & cooking.

Each month you will learn about new edible plants as we move with the seasons and the wild food available around us. You will also get foraging tips from Special Guest Speakers from the world of wild food, bushcraft and outdoor cooking.

A ticket costs just £7. These events are selling quickly, so grab your place whilst you can 🙂 Everyone has loved these workshops so far and they’ve been really popular.

There are two dates to choose from for your workshop, Sun 19th or Mon 20th July.

* Seasonal Wild Food Plant Identification

* Foraging Tips

* Wild Medicine

* Recipe Ideas

* Special Guest Speakers

* Q&A Session

Learn at your own pace. Join just one workshop or join us every month, you decide. There’s no commitment from you to attend every month.

YOU can be part of the workshop too. We’re inviting all our online students to chime in with their foraging experiences during lockdown, recipe successes and failures, and any tips you have yourself to share with the class. We would love to hear from you. So, if you have an idea send us an email at We might even ask you to showcase your wild food creation for the rest of the class as a guest speaker.

The workshop will last 1 hour and will be hosted via Zoom. Once you book into the workshop then you will receive an email from Zoom with details of how to access the webinar.

The cost is £7, this is not per person though, only per slot. So feel free to cram as many family members around the screen as you can 🙂

We are running this event on two separate evenings, Sunday 19th July and Monday 20th July. Each night is the same workshop. Please choose which evening you would like to attend by purchasing the appropriate ticket below.

Once you have your ticket, we will follow up with an email for you to register for the Zoom meeting, following which you will receive the Zoom meeting link and entry password. So, look out for that.

Please note, tickets are non-refundable.

James’ approach to teaching  steers his students toward fostering a deeper connection with nature through understanding the landscape around us; “Bushcraft skills are an effective way to do this as we learn how to make use of natural materials and live lightly with the land, whilst also connecting with our own ancient past by seeing the land through the eyes of our ancestors.”

Lea is a qualified Counsellor and Mindfulness in a Woodland Setting practitioner. She is a firm believer in the power of nature to be therapeutic for everyone.
