Wild Food Webinar Live on Zoom

Want to make the most out of lockdown & boost your foraging skills? Join our workshop online.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Our other sessions are now SOLD OUT, so to meet demand we are now hosting this additional workshop on SUNDAY 31ST MAY from 7pm to 8pm. A ticket costs £7 and includes access to the live workshop as well as a Wild Food Recipe e-book sent to you via email after the event. These events are selling quickly, so grab your place whilst you can 🙂

James & Lea will be hosting this live webinar workshop showcasing a host of wild edible foods that are available in the hedgerow at this abundant time of year.

If you attended our last online workshop and loved it, you’ll be pleased to hear that we’re covering different plants this time, so there will be lots of new tips for you. You will learn about edible plants you can find in late Spring and early Summer.

We have missed running our Wild Food courses out in the woods due to lockdown, so we’re offering a series of sessions online to anyone and everyone who is interested in finding out more about food for free on their doorstep. We’ve loved running these workshops and they’ve been really popular.

YOUR WORKSHOP INCLUDES:

  • Wild Food Plant Identification
  • Foraging Tips
  • Wild Medicine
  • Recipe Ideas
  • Q&A Session

YOU can be part of the workshop too. We’re inviting all our online students to chime in with their foraging experiences during lockdown, recipe successes and failures, and any tips you have yourself to share with the class. We would love to hear from you. So, if you have an idea, send us an email at hey@woodlandclassroom.com We will have space on the workshop for some special guests to share their foraging experiences, it could be you.

The workshop will last 1 hour and will be hosted via Zoom.

Please note, for anyone attending the events on 27th, 29th or 30th May via Zoom this will mostly be a repeat of the same workshop, however we will be tackling different Questions and Answers from the audience and maybe have different special guests.

GET A WILD FOOD RECIPE E-BOOK

You will also receive an e-book after the workshop which includes recipe ideas and wild food foraging tips from Lea and James as well as many of our guests from our Foraging Workshop programme. There’s lots of tasty ideas here for you to try and begin your wild food adventure.

HOW TO BOOK – VERY IMPORTANT!

Your Tutors: James & Lea Kendall

James is the Head Bushcraft Instructor at Woodland Classroom, having worked in environmental education & conservation for over 10 years. James’ approach to teaching  steers his students toward fostering a deeper connection with nature through understanding the landscape around us; “Bushcraft skills are an effective way to do this as we learn how to make use of natural materials and live lightly with the land, whilst also connecting with our own ancient past by seeing the land through the eyes of our ancestors.”

Lea is a qualified Counsellor and Mindfulness in a Woodland Setting practitioner. She is a firm believer in the power of nature to be therapeutic for everyone. Lea is an active forager, passionate about how we can use common plants for both food and medicine. She enjoys making her own tinctures and medicinal remedies for treating common ailments.
