tbest of summer foraging - online workshop

Kickstart your foraging journey & walk the wild food trail.

Join our monthly workshops online, with James & Lea from Woodland Classroom.

Enjoy finding, harvesting and cooking with wild food with the very best of the summer season during our online workshop. The fizz of elderflower champagne is in the air, wild strawberries are ripening in the sunshine and summer mushrooms are pushing their way up from the earth. Learn what to look for, where to look and what to do with it in the kitchen.

Our online foraging workshops started in the first lockdown and have continued to be a hit ever since, as people want to learn how to make tasty meals from the wild plants around them. Each month we host online workshops with a whole host of nature-based subjects including foraging, tree lore, woodcraft skills and wild medicine.

In this workshop you will learn about common edible plants you can find in June, July and August. You will also get foraging tips from our special guest speaker Juliette Bryant, plant medicine woman and superfood alchemist.

A ticket costs just £11 per household. These events are selling out quickly, so grab your place whilst you can 🙂 Everyone has loved these workshops so far and they’ve been really popular.

YOUR WORKSHOP INCLUDES:

* Seasonal Wild Food Plant Identification

* Foraging Do’s & Don’ts

* How To Make a Wild Fruit Summer Pudding

* Summer Recipe Ideas

* 10 Tasty Ways To Use Elderflowers

* Special Guest Speaker: Juliette Bryant, plant medicine woman and superfood alchemist

* Q&A Session: put your questions to us

YOU could be part of the workshop too. We’re inviting all our online students to chime in with their foraging experiences, successes and failures. If you would like to share your wild food story or recipe with the class then we would love to hear from you. Send us an email at hey@woodlandclassroom.com in advance of the session and we’ll start talking.

The workshop will last 1hr 30 mins and will be hosted via Zoom.

HOW TO BOOK – VERY IMPORTANT!

The cost is £11 per household. So, feel free to cram as many family members around the screen as you can 🙂

Once you have your ticket, we will follow up with an email for you to register for the Zoom meeting, following which you will receive the Zoom meeting link and entry password. So, look out for that.
