Holiday Clubs

Kids love coming to our woodland holiday club sessions and parents love hearing all their stories when they pick them up; muddy, tired, and smiling.

We host a unique and exciting programme of themed activity days for children aged 6 – 14 years during the school holidays.

Parents can leave their children safe with us knowing their kids will have a great day; being active, getting creative and learning new skills. Being a Forest School we subscribe to the principle of “child-led learning through play” and we aim to offer a supportive, encouraging and inspiring environment where children can thrive. We always allow plenty of space for children to spread out and create their own play. The woodland setting is perfect for this.

Our Holiday Club days generally run from 10am – 4pm and we usually host a group of between 10 and 20 kids per session depending on the activities. Our staff are trained and experienced at tutoring children through the skills included in the programme and will cater each activity to suit the child’s age and experience as appropriate. Your child’s safety is our primary concern. We also allow plenty of scope in the day for those kids that want to play freely in the woods between activities – we know they love it.

Holiday Club Themes

We offer a range of themed Holiday Club days including;

Wildcraft Adventure:

The perfect experience for video gamers who need to get off-screens and outdoors. Inspired by games like Minecraft & Fortnite.

Survival School:

Decipher your map, find water, build your shelter, make fire, survive the wild! Woodland and bushcraft skills for the wild child in your life.

Kids Campfire Cooking:

Light up the fire, warm up the pans and get ready to become a Campfire Masterchef! Expect sticky fingers.

Wild Detectives:

Grab you magnifying glass for an inspiring day of discovery into the wonders of the natural world.

The Dangerous Day For Kids:

Axes! Catapults! Knives! Fires! Oh my! Outdoor adventures for the child who loves a slice of danger with their fun.

All activities are based around our Forest School shelter and surrounding woods. Children will make new friends and learn new skills whilst enjoying a fantastic day out in nature, all led by experienced activity leaders.

Parents don’t usually stay with their children during our Holiday Club events. If your child has additional needs that you feel would require a parent or guardian to stay with them for the day though, we would advise getting in touch with us in advance of making a booking and we’ll see what we can arrange. We aim to be as inclusive as we can.

Take a look at our upcoming events to find a session near you. If you don’t see an event listed for a particular school holiday then please get in touch and we will let you know what’s coming up.

Holiday Clubs

We had a really lovely few hours today and learnt such a lot in a very short space of time. Elliott was so pleased he lit his cotton wool with his flint and Orla keeps talking about the death triangle, Good skills as well as good fun in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended.
