He is the lead tutor at Woodland Survival Crafts. The business was established in 1995 following a 10 year career in outdoor activity centres. \nDave’s passion for ancient survival skills\, or ‘bushcraft’ as it has become known\, stems from his teenage years when he spent much of his time wandering around Britain in semi-wild places trying to live off the land. \nDave views the subject of bushcraft as an exciting and inspiring tool suitable for everyone\, to teach life skills\, environmental education\, and history as well as being a perfect basis in which to impart sound spiritual lessons. \nJames Kendall is the Head Bushcraft Instructor at Woodland Classroom\, having worked in environmental education & conservation for over 10 years. James’ approach to teaching  steers his students toward fostering a deeper connection with nature through understanding the landscape around us; “Bushcraft skills are an effective way to do this as we learn how to make use of natural materials and live lightly with the land\, whilst also connecting with our own ancient past by seeing the land through the eyes of our ancestors.”[/vc_column_text]Find Out More[/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”14460″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” el_class=”wd-circle-image”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1573143170656{background-color: #6c7d4d !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nSkills you will learn\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”cream-text”] \nOver the course of the programme you will learn a range of skills\, including… \n[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″]\n\n	\nCampfire Cooking [/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″]\n\n	\nDutch oven [/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″]\n\n	\nTree & Plant identification [/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″]\n\n	\nHedgerow Foraging [/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″]\n\n	\nNature Connection [/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″]\n\n	\nCampfire snacks [/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″]\n\n	\nReading the Landscape [/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″]\n\n	\nFirelighting Skills [/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_id=”book-now”][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nBook now\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text] \nThis course costs £60 per person and is open to adult learners aged 16 years and over.
